Job Summary:
Seeking a seasoned finance executive to oversee the accounting division of a rapidly expanding construction organization. This leadership role requires a confident, engaging communicator capable of managing a large team and partnering with top management to support aggressive growth plans.

Job Duties:
• Supervising and developing an accounting team of approximately 18 professionals
• Overseeing project accounting processes including POC and WIP management
• Partnering with executive leadership to formulate financial strategies
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal controls
• Monitoring financial performance and preparing critical reports
• Implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Job Requirements:
• Extensive experience in construction project accounting including POC/WIP handling
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and command respect
• Strong technical understanding of project financial metrics and reporting
• Excellent communication skills; confident and outspoken demeanor preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with industry-specific accounting systems and standards

Preferences:
• Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry experience is a must
• Professional accounting credentials (CPA, CMA) welcomed but not mandatory
• Previous experience in a growing company with a focus on M&A activity
