DUTIES

• Responsible for managing the preparation and/or review of corporate federal and state income and franchise tax returns (annual, quarterly, extensions)
• Review tax provision, effective tax rate calculations, taxable income and deferred tax computations as well as reviewing test tax basis computations based on balance sheet approach for book/tax differences
• Assist in the preparation of income tax provisions and disclosures in accordance to ASC 740 and the SEC
• Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns
• Assist with various tax reporting
• Generate and analyze financial and tax accounts
• Research various tax issues and prepare memorandas for management

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Masters in Tax or CPA preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of Tax experience, public accounting experience preferred
• 3+ years supervisory experience
