Job Duties:
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Protect company assets by implementing and maintaining strong internal controls
- Monitor and confirm financial condition through audits and external reporting
- Prepare and oversee budgets, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions
- Provide accurate reporting on financial condition and key performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements
- Manage investments and cash balances to maximize returns and minimize risk
- Lead and develop finance staff through coaching, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with leadership to interpret financial data and support strategic initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and operational information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with healthcare industry background required
- Must have Experience with Great Plains (software)
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle within a healthcare environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor finance teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prior Controller-level experience within healthcare industry settings
