Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

ICX Group is recruiting for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a great organization located in Jacksonville, FL. Our client is looking for a candidate who will bring a wealth of expertise in data security programs, work closely with the executive team and operations to align cybersecurity and data protection initiatives across the organization.

Job Duties:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business goals
• Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and prioritize security initiatives based on risk exposure
• Oversee the design and implementation of secure IT architecture and network infrastructure
• Collaborate with other executives and departments to foster a security-aware culture
• Establish and oversee incident response plans for potential cyber attacks or data breaches
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, industry regulations, and cloud governance.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master degree in IT Management, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive experience in information security, risk management, and IT governance
• Experience with network segmentation, resilient backup strategies, and security culture transformation
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to shift between strategic and tactical priorities
