Job Summary

This executive position directs all facets of an organization’s credit and accounts receivable operations. The objective is to secure robust cash flow and diminish financial exposure. As a crucial finance leader, this individual integrates strategic oversight with practical application to further business objectives. The role ensures efficient AR and credit systems, working closely with various departments to foster client connections while safeguarding fiscal integrity.

Job Duties

• Serve as a trusted business partner to the CFO in evaluating credit exposure and cash flow forecasts.
• Formulate and implement broad credit and collections plans.
• Supervise all invoicing, payment posting, and debt recovery.
• Track outstanding balances; deploy proactive recovery tactics.
• Define customer credit thresholds and payment arrangements.
• Direct and cultivate a group of AR and credit specialists.
• Generate precise reports on receivable trends and risk exposure.
• Support he CFO and VP of Finance in monthly audit preparation, external reporting, bank reporting, and accounting as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• 10+ years of evolving experience in credit and collections management.
• Demonstrated history of designing and implementing effective AR processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor, Syspro, Sage) and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Successful passing of background check and drug screening.

Preferences

• MBA or Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Previous leadership experience within a mid-market distribution or production company.
