ICX Group is seeking a Director of Strategic Brand Planning for an agency focused on community brand and Convention/ Visitor's Bureaus (CVB). This position will support the Research and Project Director to lead the research and insight-driven strategic aspects of the community brand development projects.

- Attend site visits, oversee research activities, lead presentations, and contribute to creative development and writing tasks.
- Work closely with various teams to deliver key client presentations and reports.
- Research & Studies: Oversee research and insight-seeking activities throughout each BrandPrint, including editing and approving the Research Director's Situation Analysis, Community Survey, CAP (Consumer Awareness & Perception) Study, and Influencer Perception Study.
- Analyze and compile all research inputs, and assist in the authoring of the Insights and Strategic DNA for each client's Research & Strategy Report.
- Reporting & Presentations: Share knowledge and insights with the Project Director to inform their Creative Brief Development. Lead or participate in client-facing Final Presentations and BrandPrint Final Report.
- Creative & Brand Action: Write and edit the Brand Action Ideas, Taglines (with collaboration from team members), and creative material review (logos, looks, narratives, etc).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Research & Analytics or comparable degree
- 7 + years’ experience in developing strategic plans based on data and research
- Experience with focus groups, surveys, and consumer studies.
- Open to Travel - Attend site visits, typically lasting 2-4 days, occurring approximately every 4-5 weeks
