Position Summary:

As a Social Media Strategist at a Full Service Ad Agency, you’ll help create and manage social media campaigns for our clients. You’ll be in charge of planning and executing campaigns, creating engaging content, and working with a team to meet client goals. Your role will involve understanding what our clients need, analyzing social media data, and staying on top of the latest trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Social Media Plans: Work with clients to understand their goals and target audience, then create social media strategies that match their needs.
  • Plan and Manage Campaigns: Design and run social media campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn to boost brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create and Curate Content: Make interesting and relevant social media posts, including text, images, and videos. Share useful content from other sources to enhance the brand’s presence.
  • Manage Communities: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers in a positive way.
  • Analyze and Report: Use social media tools to track how campaigns are performing. Provide reports to clients with insights and suggestions for improving future campaigns.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with new social media trends, updates, and tools. Suggest new strategies or features to clients to keep their social media presence fresh.

Requirements:

  • Portfolio of Social Media
  • Experience:  5-7 years in social media marketing, with experience in strategy and campaign execution within an advertising agency.
  • Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with major social media platforms and current trends.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to create engaging content and interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to use social media tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creativity and Organization: Innovative thinking and strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
