Senior Staff Accountant

ICX Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing healthcare organization that operates across the Southeast region.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, handle month end close process, and assist with preparation of the financial statements
• Analyze accounts and prepare financial reports for presentation to executive leadership
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff members
• Compile and provide data and support requested by external auditors and answer audit inquiries
• Perform trend analysis, monitor profit and loss, and oversee revenue recognition and reporting
• Ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 4+ years of related experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Healthcare industry accounting experience
• CPA or MBA preferred
