Job Summary

The Senior Site Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the monthly financial close, performing various account reconciliations, supporting cash flow projections, and handling complex general ledger activities to ensure adherence to accounting principles.

Job Duties

• Prepare and review detailed journal entries for period-end closing processes.
• Support cash forecasting by monitoring balances and identifying funding requirements.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations for numerous financial accounts.
• Lead the reconciliation of intercompany transactions across related entities.
• Manage fixed asset records, including depreciation, additions, and transfers.
• Maintain operating and finance leases according to current accounting standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least three years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and site leadership.

Preferences

• Prior accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
