Strategic Sales Manager (Mass Market)

Location: Onsite, Jacksonville, FL (Southside).
Industry: CPG (Consumer Products)
Role: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Job Summary:
The Marketing and Sales Manager is responsible for managing accounts and product sales in the Mass Market channel. This role involves planning and implementing channel and account strategies to drive profitable sales, gaining new distribution, and strengthening existing relationships. The Manager also oversees Manufacturer Reps to achieve divisional goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual planning and account management, aligning with corporate objectives, brand strategies, and industry dynamics.
- Build and maintain top-level relationships with customers, negotiating and optimizing program agreements and contracts.
- Identify sales opportunities, design promotional programs, and communicate customer insights for new projects and creative briefs.
- Direct and manage Manufacturer Representatives, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategy and monitoring performance.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Finance, and Distribution on logistics and payment issues.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on sales performance, potential, ROI of promotions, and competitive activity. Provide detailed customer meeting recaps.
- Establish annual sales forecasts, adjusting to market conditions, and managing expenditures for assigned accounts.
- Develop and deliver presentations at customer meetings and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Monitor POS trends, measure promotional performance, and conduct industry analyses for assigned accounts.
- Maintain accurate account information and promotional documentation in collaboration with Account Specialists.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of related experience, preferably in a consumer products environment.
- Proven history of increasing sales within retailers
- Experience in Grocery and/or Art retail preferred.

Skills Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of influencing decision making.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively, motivate, support, train, develop, and recognize team members.
- Understanding of Marketing principles preferred
