Marketing Director- Irving, TX
Position Summary: Our Client is seeking a talented and well-rounded Marketing Director to elevate their marketing efforts as the company grows in the home furnishings and textiles sector. This role involves developing, coordinating, and executing a comprehensive range of multi-channel marketing initiatives. This position reports to the company’s President and involves managing a small team of marketing specialists. The ideal candidate is capable of coming in with a “playbook” or “best practices” in this industry; as well as excited about brining and utilizing innovative marketing ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute advanced marketing strategies across print advertising, social media, email, paid media, direct mail, SEO, and more. Targeting B2C (i.e. retail customers) and B2B (i.e. interior designers) audience
• Oversee marketing project timelines and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Lead a marketing team of 5, providing coaching and participating in hiring efforts.
• Analyze campaign results using data and research, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with creative teams and cross-functional partners like Sales, Ecommerce, and Product Development.
• Segment customer data for targeted marketing purposes.
• Manage communication and relationships with the press, vendors, and partners.
• Plan and execute in-person promotional events, such as grand openings and brand activations.
• Travel periodically to trade shows.
• Foster an environment of creativity, high performance, and team cohesion.
• Perform other marketing responsibilities as needed.
Who You Are:
• 8+ years of marketing experience for a consumer brand, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with B2B and wholesale trade companies.
• Strong ability to prioritize, strategize, and execute project plans. Plan and execute in-person promotional events
• Extensive experience with paid media campaigns, including paid social. Bonus if you have experience in eCommerce.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Desire to positively impact team culture and the world.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
