Job Summary

This position involves overseeing technical accounting functions within a dynamic environment. The role requires providing critical input on unique transactions, supporting the finance close, and upholding best practices in line with U.S. GAAP. You will collaborate with teams to maintain the integrity of financial statements and external disclosures.

Job Duties

• Prepare initial assessments for diverse technical accounting issues.
• Conduct detailed research on complex financial transactions.
• Support development of internal control documentation.
• Contribute to projects improving operational effectiveness.
• Assist with the month-end closing procedures.
• Facilitate requests from external and internal auditors.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in public accounting or auditing, or 10 years total accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferred.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.

Preferences

• Prior use of financial reporting software.
• Experience within the aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
