Requirements:
Education and Certification:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree in project management or a related discipline is a plus. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) are highly desirable.

Extensive Project Management Experience:
A Senior IT Project Manager should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is often preferred.

Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in IT concepts and technologies is essential. Senior IT Project Managers should have a deep understanding of software development, infrastructure, networking, and other IT domains relevant to their projects. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is a plus.

Leadership and Communication Skills:
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are crucial. A Senior IT Project Manager must be able to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate collaboration, and effectively communicate project status, risks, and requirements to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Duties:

Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Lead project teams through the execution phase, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.

Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business units, clients, and vendors, to define project objectives and requirements.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, resolve issues, and manage expectations.

Resource Management:
Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including project team members, contractors, and third-party vendors.
Ensure that team members have the necessary tools, training, and support to deliver project objectives.

Quality Assurance and Documentation:
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, change requests, and status reports.
