We are seeking an Investment Director for a family office located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial markets, sectors, and individual securities.  
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed and build a network in the investment community.
  • Prepare regular investment reports; present findings and communicate recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies, including asset allocation and risk management.
  • Identify investment opportunities.
  • Source deals and build relationships with potential sellers.
  • Evaluate business and build business cases.
  • Work closely with team members, external advisors, and fund managers.
  • Perform rigorous due diligence on public managers and private funds, including analyzing fund performance, assessing fund managers, and understanding the underlying investments and strategies of the fund for existing and potential funds.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in finance, investment management, or a related field (5+ years).
  • Experience evaluating and assessing the viability of existing and future direct investments.
  • Deep understanding of public and private markets and investment principles.
  • Strong understanding of the family office environment and operations.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other committee members, and financial professionals.
  • Capacity to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
This position is based in Jacksonville, Florida. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications.
