We are seeking an Investment Advisory Committee Member for a Family Office based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Primary Responsibilities
  • You will play a vital role in providing strategic guidance and expertise in managing the investment portfolio while honoring the mission and values of the family.
The Investment Advisory Committee is primarily responsible for the following:
  • Analyze financial markets, reviewing investment policies and asset allocation, evaluating managers performance, assessing investment opportunities, and making informed recommendations to optimize our financial resources. 
  • Assist in determining target returns, risk tolerance and investment horizon
  • Recommend the development, revision and application of the Investment Policy.
  • Provide guidance regarding the targets returns across the different asset classes in relation to the needs and risk tolerance of the family.
  • Develop investment strategies.
  • Monitor the overall performance of the portfolio and individual investments.
  • Participate in four in-person meetings per year (quarterly meetings) in New York.
  • Ad-hoc calls with specific topics when needed.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in finance, investment management, or a related field.
  • Experience evaluating and assessing the viability of existing and future direct investments.
  • Deep understanding of public and private markets and investment principles.
  • Strong understanding of the family office environment and operations.
  • Capacity to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications. Current members of the committee include two family members, the General Manager of the Family Office, and one external member.
