INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

ICX Group is seeking a Contract / Temporary Internal Communications Coordinator, with experience in email, newsletter, articles, and presentation creation experience, to work with a large Non-Profit organization.


Job Summary
This role serves as an opportunity to work for a prestigious, and national non-profit organization. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing internal communications strategies that align with the client’s objectives and uphold the brand standards.


What You Will Be Doing:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement internal communication materials such as internal newsletters, articles, emails, presentations, and intranet content.
  • Work closely with the Internal Communications Manager to craft content and communication materials that convey key messages and support organizational goals. While also contributing to and maintaining the editorial calendar.
  • Ensure the distribution and publication of approved materials according to communication plans.
  • Design visually engaging presentations that support key initiatives and adhere to brand standards.
  • Manage logistics and distribution for digital and printed internal communications.
  • Participate in cultural activities and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Must Have:
  • 2+ years related work experience in public relations, journalism, internal communications, and/or corporate communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education, training, and/or certification in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong written communication skills. Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player mentality.
  • Sound reasoning abilities and good judgment. Resourceful, well-organized, and dependable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), or equivalent design software.
     
What We Would Prefer:
  • Non-profit fundraising experience

Physical/Environmental Activities
 
  • General office environment with temperature control.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required..
