Interim Controller

ICX Group is recruiting for an Interim Controller for a fast growing company in Jacksonville. The Interim Controller will be responsible for month-end close, accounting policies and processes, AP and AR.

Job Duties:

• Provide leadership/direction for the accounting department
• Provide strategic and operational guidance for the business
• Implement and manage monthly, quarterly and annual close process and perform analysis and reporting
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate in accordance with GAAP and audit ready
• Review and offer process improvements on current accounting policies and practices.
• Oversee monthly consolidation schedules, reconciliations, journal entries, and analyze GL Accounts
• Collaborate with different departments and coordinate with external audit and tax

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• CPA highly preferred
• 7+ years experience in related field (Public Accounting experience preferred)
