Customer Account Manager

Primary Function:
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Account Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with an assigned customer and/or group of customers to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, and oversees the day-to-day account activities, including order processing, shipping, and other inquiries.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining complete account notes.
  • Facilitate, develop, and implement order processes and procedures to streamline and meet customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the Shipping and Compliance departments to ensure orders are processed as outlined by customer requirements and established timelines.
  • Anticipate and facilitate problem resolution with any shipments at risk of not meeting customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possesses a full understanding of the order process from receipt to order shipment.
  • Ability to work independently to drive results.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently – verbally, in print, and on the phone.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
