ICX Group is seeking an Administrative & Legal Assistant to join our team, offering the opportunity to develop administrative skills and gain exposure to legal matters. Job Duties:
Legal Responsibilities:
  • Assists in conducting research in legal matters.
  • Understands the basics of court documents and assists in preparing such documents.
  • Arranges for the filing of court documents as needed.
  • Proofreads and revises legal documents.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate legal information in the company’s database.
  • Coordinates with external parties in gathering relevant legal information.

Office Management Responsibilities:
  • Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents for internal and external distribution.
  • Conducts research, collects, and analyzes data to prepare reports and documents.
  • Arranges and coordinates meetings and events.
  • Records, transcribes, and distributes minutes of meetings.
  • Monitors, screens, responds to, and distributes incoming communications.
  • Prepares agendas, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars for senior management.
  • Assists in maintaining internal process documentation.
  • Maintains office and breakroom supplies inventory.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years’ experience providing high level office support.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a legal environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and handle all communication in a highly professional manner.
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
