Strategic Marketing Account Specialist

Full Time
ONSITE 100% - Southside Jacksonville, FL

ICX Group is seeking a collaborative and strategic team member with a friendly, take charge, work style, who is well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively partner with the marketing and sales team in the planning, development, and implementation of marketing strategies and promotional activities of multiple CPG brands, within various media channels.

Position Summary:

You'll be working to ensure brand, channel, and corporate strategies are aligned with channel/account goals and activities. You will also assist with new product launches to achieve profitable sales by gaining new distribution and strengthening existing distribution.

Essential job functions & responsibilities:

  • Apply brand and marketing strategies, product positioning and messaging, and targeting of brand based on selected media channels to achieve the company goals and opportunities. 
  • Assist in the development of channel/account strategy, delivering presentations, producing creative briefs, and compelling point-of-purchase (POP) communication.
  • Implement sell-in and sell-through support promotional plans and retail opportunities. Recap and evaluate promotions and plans toward future optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services, Marketing, Product Management and Purchasing teams on the development, production and project management of marketing materials including social media support, POP displays and signage, promotional materials, trade advertising, sampling vehicles, tradeshow elements and promotional activity. 
  • Worth with the team in the execution and optimization of channel/account specific digital requests and campaigns ( search campaigns, product content, online ads and responses to online consumer reviews and inquires).
  • Partner with team to ensure promotional plans, pricing and assortments are complementary to in-store activities and overall corporate goals.
  • Work with Marketing team on regular monitoring of sales trends, measurement of promotional performance, assortment optimization and industry analysis.
  • Represent company at trade shows and events. Update planning and reference tools including Trade Promotional Calendar, New Item Launch Calendar, Account Specific Reference Documents, BTS Audit Reports and Retail Distribution Grid.
  • Act as central contact for all departments for day-to-day marketing support and information on channel/account-specific projects and products as needed. 

Education and experience requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus up to 5 years of previous sales or marketing experience. Experience in consumer products environment (CPG) for the Retail Mass Market is preferred.
